Pay As You Go Planning and Price List

 

What do we mean by clear and up-front pricing, with no hidden costs?

 

Different planning consultancies have different charging regimes, some more complex, obscure and unclear than others. At Vitality Planning and Design, we believe that you are happiest when you know the cost of the services you want as stated in our price list. This benefits you because it means that if your project involves significantly more work than we anticipated, you will not receive any additional charges. We also believe in being up-front and open about our pricing, so that you do not need to call us to find out how much your project will cost, if you do not want to.

 

Furthermore, we do not add "administration charges", additional charges if you get permission, costs associated with our work with technical specialists, or any other spurious hidden costs for that matter. This allows you to budget for the cost of your project more accurately, without any nasty surprises.

 

What is Pay-As-You-Go planning?

 

You may have noticed that with our Complete Planning Application Service package that it is broken down into each service. With this package, you can choose which service you wish to use, and which you do not want to use. If, for whatever reason you agree to a service which you have not used, and then choose not to use it, you will not be obliged to pay for it. All you need to do is notify us and settle the balance.

 

To give you an example, you may sign up for our Complete Planning Application Service package, have the Development Site Review and Appraisal, but then decide that you do not wish to take the project any further. This is fine, and all you would need to pay for is the Development Site Review and Appraisal.

 

By operating this system, it also allows us to charge you on an incremental basis. So, once a service is completed, the remaining amount owed for that service is paid, and then we move onto the next service, rather than expecting you to pay the entire fee up-front. This allows you to manage your budget, gives you peace of mind and makes the flexibility of the pay-as-you-go system more useful.

 

Price List

  

Below is a list of the prices for a number of typical projects, and different types of planning applications (for information on different planning application types click HERE). As referred to above, the costs of each service can be arranged to be paid incrementally, so that the service is paid for as it is delivered to you. Please note that currently VAT is not applicable to any of the prices quoted below, and therefore the prices below are the entire cost.

 

If your project is not covered here, then please give us a call; we can give you a quick, hassle-free quote over the phone. We can offer big discounts for complex schemes, such as involving multiple units, several different extensions and/or buildings, and other elements (like boundary walls, advertisements, etc.). Complete Planning Application Service Package Deals

 

This package can apply to planning permission, outline planning permission, Lawful Development Certificates (existing and proposed) and Prior Approvals.

 

Note: the discounted price applies if you choose not to use pre-application advice management. This discount would therefore apply to most developments, such as simpler schemes, Lawful Development Certificates and Prior Approvals. Development Site Planning Appraisals

 

Extensions and/or Alterations to a house or flats, new boundary treatments, vehicular crossover, raised patios/decking, new driveways, replacement shopfronts - £295

Change of use, commercial extensions, conversions of a house into flats, new build developments (10 units or less and less than 1000 square metres for the above) - £495

Major Developments: Any scheme involving the formation of more than 10 new units, and/or more than 1000 square metres  - £995

 

Advertisements

 

Signs on a single elevation/frontage (up to 3 signs) or a single free-standing sign - £495

Signs on two elevations or on a single elevation and a single free-standing sign - £995
